All of our students want to learn and be successful. Our students require more instant gratification in their learning than final grades grant. Providing them with snacks and rewards allows them to immediately obtain the positive reward they can gain for doing their work / displaying expected behavior. We are able to provide these snacks and rewards to students we have attending in person, as well as those attending virtually (home drop-off, send home with packets, or mail). With fidgets and special timers, our students will be able to focus more and be more motivated to learn and grow. We have students who are doing a hybrid learning as well as just virtual learning. fidgets and light up timers are additional tools that can assist the students to stay engaged in the class. The fidgets allow for controlled movement enabling the students to focus on their schooling while still moving. Light up timers will encourage the students to be engaged and still be able to determine when the timer is finished while not providing too much a distraction to others in the class. They are a good, quiet motivational tool to encourage students to work.
