One of the many challenges an elementary teacher faces is getting students to enjoy reading. One way to accomplish this task is by having plenty of books to choose from. All readers are not created equal and I aspire to have a class library that fulfills every students' favorite genre of books. There is more to a library than just the books! Students come from all different backgrounds. Making this classroom an environment that is welcoming and comforting is an absolute priority. In order to accomplish this goal, I want to make my class library a place where students want to sit, relax, and enjoy learning. The flexible seating and the rug would make this classroom much more inviting!
