My students love hands-on projects, and learning about science and social studies. With the help of modeling clay and dinosaur kits, I hope to bring the past to life for them and allow them to make projects they will treasure. In social studies, we learn about the Native Americans and how they use natural resources such as clay. In science, my students love to learn about fossils, dinosaurs, and to make replicas. By using modeling clay and dinosaur kits, they will be able to get their hands dirty, make clay pots, and bring the past to life. The best way to increase their understanding of life long ago is through hands on learning opportunities. This project will not only increase their understanding, but inspire them to learn more!
