Can you imagine your first experience in school being confined to one room ALL day? This is what most of my students are experiencing this year. A lot of them have never been in any educational setting, so asking them to sit still and pay attention without moving around is a joke. These materials will help my students stay focused through these lessons. Kindergarten is the foundation for school. I don't want to have to use my grumpy voice because a student is laying on the carpet or playing with their clothes. They are stuck and crammed in one classroom for hours and only get to leave for recess. I don't blame them for wanting to move. I want to move too! I also want my students to be productive and learn. A seat that wobbles, a fidget that gets their hands moving, or a band on their chair while I'm teaching will all help them stay focused. Please help me by funding my project. I want my students to stay focused but still have the opportunity to get their wiggles out in a positive way.
