Open a book and imagine you on the pages while sitting in a calming, colorful chair or lying on a comfy pillow. Books are inviting and give our imagination an opportunity to expand. This space will Invite students to pick up a good book and want to read. This area can also be a space for flexible small group learning, where we can learn literacy language and comprehension skills. A book is a learning experience filled with characters and ideas that are not accessible to these students at home so this will be new and a safe space for learning and a place to call their own.
