By teaching the very basics of hand-sewing, students will be able to practice those skills that will help them sew on a button and hem a pair of pants independently now and in their future. The craft and sewing supplies will be used so that each student will be able to practice his/her mending skills through creating a small project. Students will also be able to learn the basics of operating the convection oven while practicing food and kitchen safety. Please help me teach our children how to become self-sufficient and independent citizens as they mature into well -educated and character- driven caring adults.
