In a distance learning environment details really matter to students, especially students with disabilities. Students need clear, constructive, feedback in a variety if platforms quickly. An entry level iPad with an Apple Pencil will allow students to see whiteboard presentations, edit teacher work samples and interact with sample student work on a separate device. The device will also be used in a hybrid classroom in November as well. The teacher will work with students in-person, walking around the classroom assisting students while monitoring and editing the remote students work simultaneously. Seeing both the teacher's face and whiteboard simultaneously together will be the closest thing to an in-person experience. It's also the best way to help a range of learners.
