My students love to be at school, and are excited to be back learning together in person. I'd like to help our classroom be a welcoming place for all by having more flexible seating options for students. These seating options include beanbag chairs, yoga balls, and stools. When we do collaborative work (which is almost every day), my students disperse across the room to complete their work. Some students sit at my small group table in rolling chairs, others head straight to the library corner. I'd like to expand their seating options so that students who choose to move to a corner on the floor have cushions to work on, and students in the library corner can all have a comfortable spot to learn.
