According to the Library Journal, "graphic novels are reaching more readers and covering more subjects than ever before. The graphic novel is a platform that clearly can handle serious non-fiction and heartfelt stories, as well as deliver entertaining escapes" (Library Journal, March 2020). New London High School readers deserve to read and discover information on a variety of subjects and topics, in a wide variety of formats, including the graphic novel platform. Therefore, I would like to acquire approximately 50 graphic novels that "cover all subjects, reach all audiences, and erase all boundaries" (Library Journal, March 2020). Students will be able to enjoy these graphic novel titles that support their studies and interests at home or in school.
