While returning to class is advantageous, it is also scary during these unprecedented times amidst a pandemic. My plan is to maintain a clean, spacious and comfortable classroom atmosphere, to ensure that all students entering our class can do their personal best. My choices are specific for my student population. The study carrels are imperative to help maintain a clean and private space for each student to safely work. The beautiful floor rockers will assist students that struggle with sitting still and provide comfort while they read independently. I have also requested the book "Jumpstart RTI" as an additional resource guide to assist me in making adjustments to my approach for students' progression.
