My students are currently learning remotely and do not have supplies at home and many do not have funds to purchase supplies for projects. Students will study color theory and the color wheel using the donated supplies and experiment with mixing color using the watercolor paint sets. Students will then use watercolor paints for realistic landscape painting and colored pencils to develop imaginative Surreal art pieces. As time allows, we can use the materials in still life art or more individualized artworks perhaps inspired by students' cultures or particular interests.
