The materials will de divided between the students and sent home for them to use in distance learning. I will lead live, synchronous lessons using the Legos to work on letter and name recognition and emotional development. Young children are struggling with distance learning and need materials to engage with along with the teacher. The same materials need to be available to each child so that the learning experience is equitable. Preschoolers with disabilities benefit from hands on learning materials. I will also be able to model for parents to increase learning opportunities at home.
