There is nothing I love more than literacy time each day. This is a time for whole-class learning, small group instruction, and independent work where my students get the opportunity to show just how much they shine when given the freedom to explore articles and interact with text. I love seeing my students engaged in learning through their own exploration of different materials. I'm so excited to continue to give them the opportunity to explore what kind of learners they are! The impact of being out of school for a few months last year has shown most in reading and math: the two Scholastic resources I am hoping to get for my classroom will help them with both reading literacy, and mathematical literacy!
