Having these digital magazines delivered straight to students' computers broadens their knowledge on a variety of subjects, such as space, engineering, and current events. My classroom library is usually a place that my students really enjoy—I read to them daily to them, and they read independently! Every student book that is placed in my library is treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to read. But distance learning has widened the gap of access for all. You can help! All students, no matter their current financial status, will be able to read these magazine-style materials, which will help them continue to enjoy independent reading time while meeting the goals and standards of the curriculum. This digital non-fiction material will increase vocabulary and encourage critical thinking through questioning and collaborative talk. It will inspire them to dream big and see themselves reflected in a magazine that is as diverse as they are.
