During synchronous (online) learning sessions, students will work on imitation and pretend play with the dolls and bottles, basic concepts (i.e. fast/slow, big/little) with the cars and buses, fine motor skills (including hand strengthening) with the play doh, gross motor skills and turn taking with the balls, and literacy with the books. The buses will also serve to give students hands on materials that promote engagement in social sensory routines when performing movements to songs like The Wheels On The Bus. All the listed activities will increase language skills among my diverse learners who use verbalizations, sign language, and picture exchange to communicate.
