My students find it hard to function in a world that is different in their minds. I want to be able to motivate them to complete their classwork by providing them with incentives and rewards for completing that work instead of timeouts and punishments. Most of my students need to move or rock because of sensory overload. The bands will give then another outlet to release that overload. I will be able to offer positive rewards to them when they complete their work in class by offering them screen time on tablets as well as treats and treasure box toys to encourage their work completion It is very hard to understand the way an autistic child's mind works, and we have to have patience in order to get the result we want from them. We have to learn how to let them decompress in a compressed world! Help bring back calm to their world.
