Instrumentation is key in order to spark the creative mind and allow detachment from reality. Music creates a sense of belonging, teamwork, and a strong foundation for growth. Musical experiences open a plethora of avenues for any inspired novice. During this season of uneasiness, we have been able to provide support for social-emotional healing, language and literacy for children within an inviting musical abode. These percussive instruments will be utilized for rhythm time, sound effects to poetry, storytelling, timbre recognition, call and response patterns, and assist with transitional musical experiences. We will continue to shake, rattle, and chime into the musical movers of the era.
