Students will be introduced to the world of coding with the BBC micro:bit controller. This device aids in training students to learn the basics of coding languages and can control a variety of applications and devices. This controller will be versatile in the classroom and allow for future applications of the technology. We will learn coding through the use of micro:bit controllers to program robots through different course designs and challenges. The skills students gain in learning the design engineering process and coding will become valuable tools for 21st century jobs that will be available to them upon completion of school.
