I am requesting books and Block Play people so that each child can feel included no matter what race. These play blocks are a great way for the kids to come together and learn about other cultures and races. It gives them the opportunity to play together to see that we all are important no matter the race or special need. Having a classroom library with children’s books that represent a diversity of experiences is important. It is important for them to select books that they can see themselves on the page and be able to relate to it. I believe this will get kids to read more if they can connect with the book.

About my class
