We are remotely teaching to students at home. I'm trying to motivate my class to read longer books. I also want my students to be more engaged in small or large group discussions about literature. I want students to learn to visualize and experience the story through the eyes of the characters. For most students in my class, this will be their first novel study. Additionally, I want my students to learn about other cultures and how things are different in other countries. This book will also focus on the required English and Social Studies learning standards.
