My students are in a high trauma area. Mental health and wellness is key in assisting them with developing skills they need to develop. As we know, trauma is directly correlated to physical and mental health. I will be able to use these resources for students while they are home as well as if we return to the building. A student's emotional health is directly correlated to academic achievement. Many students perform low academically and then develop behavioral issues due to their lack of ability to regulate their emotions.
