As an elementary school librarian who serves upwards of 350 students, many of these students do no not have access to any books at home. Because of that, it is my hope to fill our library with updated diverse and multicultural books that will allow every child to find one that they connect with. This book project will assist them in developing a life-long love of reading and learning. Our library budget is largely funded through book fairs, but due to COVID restrictions, these will not be taking place this school year.
