Students learn best through play! My students will learn sportsmanship, leadership skills, game rules, and teamwork. They will learn to respect different skill abilities. The students will also learn that being active is a fun way to be healthy. Recess as a brain break is a great way to allow students to use their stored energy and increases academic achievement. The ability to earn additional recess time is quite the motivator for school attendance and improved academic achievement. Having recess balls will encourage the students to run, throw, and kick which means using many muscles.

About my class
