The use of gross motor skills is a daily activity in my classroom, from obstacle courses, dancing to running and playing at recess. Using the fold-up trampoline on an as-needed basis will help to provide an outlet for our students with excess energy, and a great jumping practice for students who are working on gross motor skills. The trampoline will fold up and store safely when not in use and be a great addition to the classroom teachers and Occupational Therapists to use while working with students individually. We love having fun options that increase our students' ability to focus, learn and grow! Students will utilize our Vinyl covered mats and pillows in the "calming" reading nook of our classroom. We have had to remove all pillows, blankets, stuffed animals and carpets, due to COVID exposure and concern. Vinyl mats and pillows will be a great way to encourage students to learn to read. When utilizing this area for a calm down corner, students have a safe and relaxing space to be when feeling and managing big emotions.
