I am an iCan Teacher which means I help student learn to say, "I CAN!" The students earn school store money by having positive and safe behavior, completing classroom work, and making progress on their IEP goals and objectives. The tasks can be very difficult for the students and helps give them an incentive to complete these challenging tasks. I pick highly preferred items to put in the school store that the students will save up their school store money in order to purchase. The students get to visit the store every day or once a week depending on where they are at in our program. Students that are looking at exiting the program go to the store less than the students that have more needs and unsafe behavior.
