Often the students I work with have a hard time just starting conversations and speaking up directly about their needs. The four workbooks are excellent resources because it helps them with specific tasks. When they use worksheets to help express their needs they often feel more successful. Distance learning has added to the challenge of students opening up about issues they might be facing. The worksheets when presented in a Google Classroom give the students something to focus on and a sense of accomplishment that they have completed an assigned task. The assignments can then be reviewed and their feelings & thoughts can be expanded on when we meet either in person or through a Google Meet.
