In our classroom reading happens everyday! Students will not only learn how to read but understand how reading leads to learning and growing minds. The books provided will help support the third grade standards being taught, as well as, support students with researching and exploring new topics. Most importantly, my students will get the opportunity to experience books that represent who they are and where they come from. It's magical to witness when a student makes a personal connection with the stories we are reading. It's a moment that will affect them for the rest of their lives.
