Vestibular input is crucial for higher learning. We all know how recess was our most important "class" when we were in school. Remember how "alive" and focused you felt afterwards? It's because the movement you engaged in allowed your body the much needed input required for you to resume your studies. As a therapist, I have indoor swings and equipment to elicit these responses. However, I currently don't have proper safety mats available to prevent injuries. The mats will be used under the swing area for a crash pad. Please consider donating to this amazing opportunity!
