Young students have experienced significant regression since virtual learning began last school year. They need books so they can read daily with their families and combat the regression they’re experiencing by not being in the school building. Scholars will be able to come to the school safely, pick a few books of interest to check out, read them for a couple of weeks, and trade them out for new, clean books. My goal is to give access to my entire class! I’ve also chosen grade-level audiobooks so scholars who aren’t reading on grade-level independently can still enjoy grade-level content and build their bank of words while listening.

About my class
