Currently I have been provided a simple Chromebook to teach my students with during distance learning. This machine CANNOT handle the constant video streaming, screen-sharing, and multiple programs and connected tools my job requires. Based on other teachers' experience, the MacBook Pro is the best tool for this job. The MacBook processes classroom video conferencing far more efficiently than other computers. I will be using the laptop to Zoom with my students, teach from my district platform, and communicate with parents and staff. Without the ability to teach my students in person, this laptop will provide me the next best solution.
