Due to the pandemic, it is necessary for students to maintain 6 feet of social distancing. These kids are seated at each end of the large 8 foot long tables. We are not able to gather as a group on the floor for circle time or gather around the teacher's desk to watch an activity or project demonstration. If our learning lab had access to the technology requested such as the projector and the Elmo, students would be able to actively participate in a greater variety of learning activities all while maintaining social distancing and staying safe. Students would also benefit from having the projector and the Elmo as teachers will be able to display work and project samples, virtual read alouds with authors, and others reading books.

About my class
