These materials I have requested will help students build a love for reading. As many know, reading scores over the years have gone down. This is simply because students do not love to read. It is my goal in my classroom to create a "love for reading" environment. I pride myself in making reading exciting. Every time a student finishes a book, they get rewarded. This gives students the desire to read. However, the key to building a love for reading is to have a wide range of books on hand. If you can find the book that fits the student, then they will fall in love with reading. Students who are learning from home can benefit, because I will advertise books on our Google Classroom, and if an online learner is interested, I will arrange a pick up time.
