I have seen the benefit that comes about when students are given a chance to succeed, and want that for my students. My desire is to leave no one behind, no matter their ability or social situation. Travel is always hard, especially now. We have had VR in our school before and it has been a great success among our students. They were able to go to locations around the entire world and see sites that would never have been available to them before. VR is the ultimate tool for geography teachers by incorporating technology into the lessons, bringing locations such as the Great Wall, Eiffel Tower, or The White House, into the classroom. Students are able to "walk" around far off locations, experience a recycling center, tour colleges, and enjoy many more experiences. VR is not just for games and fun, but also it is the next wave in educational tools for the classroom.
