These 3 books have activities and lesson plans that will promote student success for all students. Each book contains at least 90 activities or lessons that can be implemented in the Freshman Student Success course as "soft skills" or strategies that students can use in all academic classes throughout their high school career. Soft Skills are important both in the academic setting and in real world settings. Lessons include study skills and habits, note-taking and organization, social emotional skills and cooperative learning, and post secondary decision making. Students leave Freshman Seminar with a great deal of confidence about their goal setting and decision making skills; knowing that they have the capabilities to overcome any challenges as they arise.
