The iPads are needed to help assist students while they learn the skills of self-management in both Health and Family & Consumer Science (sewing, cooking & life skills) classes. Students will be able to use the iPads to record, watch lessons and to research all while they improve their life skills. As I work around the room to assist their classmates I teach the rule of 3 before you ask me. The nature of this course is hands on learning. Therefore if students are struggling they must 1. go back to their notes 2. watch a video lesson 3. ask a peer expert, then they may ask me. Allowing students the opportunity to problem solve allows me time to work one on one with students who need the most help.
