As a first year teacher in a school with limited resources, I don't have many of the necessary items for my class. I am missing chairs, stands, and even a director's podium. Currently there aren't even chairs in my classroom!! We are in dire need of a place to sit, a place for each student to call their own. Since I am a vocal music teacher, stands are needed to make sure my students can read their music with correct posture. This is vital to teaching them the correct way to sing. Without these items, it will be nearly impossible to teach my young musicians well. With these items, we will finally be able to have a vocal music room that is usable and inviting. We will have what we need in order to get a good start on learning how to sing with the correct posture and breath, as well as how to read music.
