Our district is set to open with a blended learning model this September. Our start date for in-person students has already been pushed by the city. This means students will learn both at school and at home. In this remote learning world, it is essential for students to actively engage with interactive content. Students will only be in person at school 2 - 3 days a week. In order to be successful, instruction must be engaging and execution must be flawless. Unfortunately, the computers provided to teachers by the district are out-dated and not up to par. During Spring 2020 when schools were closed and remote learning started, this proved to be a problem when trying to deliver remote instruction. This MacBook air will be used to conduct virtual meetings with my students and deliver quality instruction; we are now living in a completely digital world and I need the up to par technology to ensure my students succeed during this year of remote and in-person learning.
