I can teach children in developmentally appropriate ways how to manage their emotions and regulate them. This will help them be better learners in the classroom because they will be able to manage strong feelings that occur when they are presented with material that is difficult, or if they had a conflict with another student at recess. Or maybe they had a rough night at home with their parent(s). They will learn the skills to manage the emotions that these things bring up so they can focus on their academics. The parenting lessons will help parents manage their own emotions while finding more effective techniques to manage their child's behaviors.
