The purchase of headphones and mice for my students will greatly improve their chances for success during this school year. When the schools shut down in March due to Covid-19 my current students were unable to continue learning fundamental concepts that would prepare them for 2nd grade. It was a time for survival, but now we are seeing the harsh reality of it. Our school has recently purchased a program that would provide interventions for each student based on their individual needs. All my students will be able to listen to directions or stories without distractions, and manipulate anything on the screen with ease. This will set them up for success, and they will be able to build the foundational skills missing. Not only does the program provide interventions for the students who are struggling, it will also provide the higher level students a challenge with new concepts. These items will provide the best opportunity for my students to learn and grow throughout this year.
