G. F. High School is a wonderful place to work. I have never been at a better school. But this year, our world has been turned upside down. We serve in a very low economic area of Northwest Arkansas where students do not have access to the norms of suburban or even urban life. Our students are rural to the extreme and many do not even speak English yet. My influence as a teacher has gone to the furthest reaches this year, but my ability to meet the student's needs has not. As a teacher, I cannot purchase a laptop out of pocket to be able to serve my students from home as well as school, but I feel that being able to be reached after school hours has been vital this year like never before. Not only would I be able to serve my students with this laptop by helping after school hours, but should we move to virtual like so many sources are suggesting, I will be at a great loss working from home. Please help me help my kids by funding my project! Your impact exceeds even our knowledge in this very bewildering time.
