These materials will help my tactile learners engage with letters and numbers. Students will be given the chance to trace sandpaper letters and numbers, feel objects to learn letter sounds, and hunt for letters and numbers in sensory tubs. They will be able to build their letters and numbers, match letter sounds through puzzles, and even take a self-soothing break on sensory mats. Providing tactile experiences will increase the time in which students engage with a learning opportunity and will also help students process what they learn. I can't wait to watch my students excitedly interact with their letters and numbers!
