The View Sonic interactive board will be a wonderful addition to enhance new learning opportunities for my diverse group of students. While a traditional whiteboard can be a valuable tool, the interactive nature of this board allows me to adjust my instruction in real time to meet the needs of each of my learners. In a world where technology is at the forefront, this board will provide students with the opportunity to use digital resources in a variety of ways with the many programs that the board can access. This way, students don't have to rely on the limitations of a keyboard and a mouse; their learning can truly come alive on the big screen. As many of my students have not traveled outside of the community that they grew up in, this board would also provide opportunities for us to engage in virtual field trips. This would allow students to experience other cultures that they may not have otherwise been exposed to. Having this resource in the classroom will allow me to differentiate my instruction based on student needs and quickly adapt to make sure that the needs of all learners are being met. With the View Sonic interactive board, my classroom will no longer be restricted by paper and pencil - I can truly go beyond the traditional methods of instruction and prepare students for the 21st century.
