When students are having trouble focusing, they need something to help them reset. This sensory pathway will be used to support students in getting out their wiggles in a positive way. The hallway where it will be placed is home to two preschool classrooms and an intervention room, all of which will benefit from this amazing resource. Students for years to come will benefit from this whimsical sensory path! Since our gym has been made into the cafeteria this year to implement social distancing, the hallway will also be our gym! This pathway will support spatial awareness, physical growth and development, and emotional learning. I cannot emphasize enough how versatile this resource is. Student will also work on counting, following directions, and cognitive skills while hopping along the path.
