Students come to my classroom looking for a calming environment, to take their minds off of frustrations, worries and/or anxiety, allowing them to return to their classroom with the ability to improve focus. My classroom utilizes sensory items and learning tools that help students deescalate and prepare to go back to their classroom to continue learning. Developmental growth is very important to everyone that comes to my classroom and having the ability to look inside ourselves to see where we should be and move towards it in a positive manner.

About my class
