These books will allow my students to develop their reading abilities and fluency while enjoying a great story. A well-rounded classroom library is necessary to develop good readers. A variety of books and genres allow the students to feel more in control of the reading choices. Books read in childhood can make an impact on the reader that lasts a lifetime. The requested books are ones that my students always enjoy reading and talk about them for the entire school year. The students often ask for suggestions of similar books to read.
