By having this resource, my students will be able to have access to the learning they are used to in a brick and mortar environment. I will be teaching from home and this teaching easel will be a tremendous resource. In the classroom, I develop anchor charts with my students, so they can have access to support resources at all times and use them to be more independent learners. The same will be necessary and helpful during remote instruction. I plan on developing anchor charts for each unit that we study, and to have the anchor chart in the background at all times, while teaching that unit. Another thing I discovered, is that it is VERY hard to see handwriting through Zoom/video; having access to a large whiteboard will help my students be able to see the work we are developing more clearly. I want to assure donors that this teaching easel will be extraordinarily helpful regardless of where I teach. Since I began my teaching career I knew I wanted one of these, but I didn't have the money to be able to purchase one and I just made do with what I had. However, now I NEED this resource and that is why I am asking for your support. I know that my students will benefit greatly from this resource, in all aspects of their learning.
