My district is starting off as virtual for my preschool students. Also, my students come from lower economic households so books and literacy may not be prevalent. I’m hoping to be able to build libraries for my students and drop them off so that they can enjoy these books with their families and over zoom meetings with myself and my teaching team. Preschool is when the importance of letters and letter sounds help build lifelong readers. Reading with loved ones helps to show how important and fun reading is. I’m hoping to build a whole class of kiddos that love books as much as I do.
