The LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 Core Sets will provide meaningful hands-on learning experiences that address all areas of STEM. Each devised experience will have a community service component to ensure that students recognize that we all can have a role in improving and contributing to our community in positive ways. Whether working at home or in the classroom, students will collaboratively identify problems, brainstorm solutions, create proto-types and test their ideas, reflecting on necessary changes or possible improvements. The WeDo 2.0 sets are age appropriate and introduce our youngest students to engineering and coding practices that will prepare them for future coding and problem solving experiences. Working with these kits I will guide my students through the engineering design process as they respond to an introduced authentic learning experience.
