The arts are an important opportunity for creativity and an emotional outlet which is important during these difficult times. During the last five years I have had the privilege at my urban school to build skills in a variety of medium. Though I have adapted the art curriculum for distance learning providing additional supplies to my students is essential. I would like to provide my 6th grade artists with watercolors and sponges to participate in projects including mixing tints and shades and a variety of resist paintings. Many of my students can not afford these supplies.
