All students have different strengths when it comes to learning math. Our textbooks and workbooks are great tools for our visual learners. Our audio learners do well with instructional videos and whole group instruction. Tactile learners need manipulatives for understanding of math. In my class, all my students need manipulatives to grant them access to the curriculum, and provide them an equitable education. We currently don't have such manipulatives in the classroom. While students are at home, they'll be able to use these materials to help with the difficult task of learning online. They'll continue to use them, during class time, once we return to the classroom. Your donation to purchase these maniuplatives will help provide an equitable learning experience for all of my students. Our math program doesn't come with them, and I would be very grateful for materials to help all my eager learners.
